Energy Assistance

Need Help Paying Your Electric Bill?
There are a number of organizations in Colorado that can help low-income families. Energy Outreach Colorado provides energy assistance grants to more than 100 Colorado emergency assistance agencies, including the state Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP). Douglas County residents can apply through the Human Services Department.

If you would like to help IREA members stay warm, safe and healthy in their homes this winter, you can contribute directly through your IREA bill. IREA will transmit your chosen donation amounts to Energy Outreach Colorado. To sign up, click here. (Please refer to the form for a short summary of voluntary program terms and conditions).

IREA is a long-time contributor to Energy Outreach Colorado and will match contributions up to $75,000 per year.
