Pay By Phone

The convenience of paying your electric bill over the phone is now available through Western Union Payment Services. IREA consumers can pay by phone by calling the Sedalia Headquarters at 303-688-3100 or toll-free at 1-800-332-9540 and following the prompts accordingly. For security purposes, consumers will be required to supply their account number and mailing zip code. Western Union charges $2.95 for phone payments.

Phone Payment Options

Residential consumers have two phone payment options: credit/debit/ATM card or funds transfer. IREA will accept Visa, and MasterCard, Discover, American Express and  debit cards bearing a STAR, NYCE or PULSE logo. Funds transfer may be made from a checking, savings or money market account.

Commercial consumers are not able to pay by credit/debit/ATM card, but can still enjoy the convenience of phone bill payment through funds transfer.

For consumers wishing to make free funds transfer payments, IREA's Automatic Bill Payment service is available.

Eligibility

Cash only accounts will not be eligible for phone payments.
