Intermountain Rural Electric Association is a rural electric distribution cooperative serving approximately 5,000 square miles east, south and west of Denver, Colorado and west of Colorado Springs, Colorado. IREA is a consumer-owned cooperative committed to providing its members with the best possible electric service at the lowest possible price. The population of our service area has grown significantly over the past ten years and is expected to continue to grow as Denver and Colorado Springs attract additional businesses and industry.

IREA employs approximately 185 dedicated individuals at offices located in Sedalia, Strasburg, Conifer and Woodland Park, Colorado. Just a short commute from the Denver and Colorado Springs metropolitan areas, Intermountain REA is located in the heart of Colorado's scenic Front Range.
